Kendall Hayes

From my home town of Danville Kentucky, we have Kendall Hayes. Okay, Kendall was actually from Perryville Kentucky, which is very close to Danville. Though I did find a couple of songs from Kendall, he was never really known for his recordings. And while not too many probably know it, Kendall was the composer of Leroy Van Dykes mega hit "Just Walk On By". So when you listen to the songs from these old 45 rpm records I found, and factor in Kendall's writing skills, you will come up with a talented man. I left Kentucky in 1962, and with the exception of a few phone calls, I never had contact with him. I do know that we lost him several years age at age 59. Give a listen to Kendall Hayes, and enjoy!
